Press Policy
IJBAS, in collaboration with BAASANA, advises authors and prospective contributors to refrain from actively seeking media attention for manuscripts under consideration in its journals. Communication with the media regarding accepted articles should only occur after the official publication date has been confirmed, and preferably within one week prior to publication.
IJBAS and BAASANA recognize the importance of open scientific discussion and do not intend to restrict academic exchange. Authors and researchers are encouraged to share their work through academic forums, conferences, preprint repositories, and scholarly online platforms.
Authors may also respond to media inquiries regarding work that has been presented as a preprint or at a conference. In such cases, it must be clearly stated that the research has not yet undergone peer review, that the findings are preliminary, and that interpretations may change. These interactions will not negatively influence the editorial evaluation process.
Finally, all individuals involved in the publication process must maintain strict confidentiality regarding peer review and editorial discussions.
